countless

Bean is spending this week reflecting on all the things he is thankful for. Here are some examples...kittens with socks...

electric blankets and friends to share them with...
and his crazy and loving family...

hats a plenty

Or something a little more festive?

Bean, why don't you bring that over here so we can make a nice centerpiece? I can't imagine that is warm or comfortable.

so vain

Bean didn't get posted yesterday because someone was taking too much time to get ready.
And that someone was me. Please allow Bean to demonstrate...

stars and stripes

Bean wants you to know that he had every intention of making a real flag, but his hand started cramping at star number 13. So, sorry Rhode Island and the other 38 states after it. As for the stripes, I am not sure what went wrong there...

Thank you, soldiers!
Happy Veterans Day.

early winter birdie

Bean, while I agree that cranberry red is a lovely color, I think you should put that back in the holiday closet. Not everyone might be ready, like you are, to stretch Christmas into a 2 month celebration.
But you can go ahead and pull Sufjan's 5 disc Songs for Christmas off the shelf.

sing sing!

Bean and I are going karaoke-ing this weekend.
Bean loves karaoke but sometimes it's hard to get him to sing.
The videos get him every time.

hiding

I think Bean found the perfect people watching place.

If only the leaves weren't wet.

November 5, 2008

jealous?

Bean is a little jealous; he wanted to make history.

It's ok, Bean; history isn't like my secret recipe brownies.
You can make it, too; anyone can! History is a never ending story and it's writers are normal people that do extraordinary things. And if you ask me, Bean, I think your odds look pretty good!

Nov. 4th

Bean doesn't get to vote today, but he would like to share a favorite quote from the tall bearded man with the tall hat, Abe Lincoln.

"...I know that the Lord is always on the side of the right. But it is my constant anxiety and prayer that I and this nation should be on the Lord's side."

Hooray for democracy!

it changed, it fell, it covered

While Bean was preoccupied with pumpkins, fall came to Central Park! So here is a postcard and photo from NYC.
And in typical postcard fashion, Bean would like to add- Wish you were here!
