Bean's putting on his Sunday clothes, there's lots of world out there. His Sunday shine is a certain sign that he feels as bright as he looks.
If you can't tell, the book Bean was reading inspired him to watch "Hello, Dolly!" He just loves Babs, and agrees with Linda- she is like buttah.
